Auditions: Arsenic & Old Lace March 25-26

Redlands Footlighters will hold open auditions for the classic Arsenic & Old Lace, by Joseph Kesselring, on March 25th &26th at 7:00 pm at the theater. The theater is located at 1810 Barton Road in Redlands.

Director Jeff Richards will hear cold reads from the script and others sides.

Rehearsals will be Monday through Thursday 7-9:30 and maybe 2 Saturdays in May. Rehearsals will be by scene — if not in that scene you will not be required to be there that evening. So actors with conflicts will be taken under consideration.

• Teddy Brewster, must be able to run up a small flight of stairs often, dresses as and thinks he is Theodore Roosevelt 40’s good comedic timing
• Mortimer Brewster, Nephew of Abby&Martha Very charming, high energy, able to move quickly.
• Jonathon Brewster, Mortimers brother Menacing/dark.Boris Karloff type. Strong stage presence.Prefer someone 6′ +
• Dr. Einstein , Jonathon’s partner in crime somewhat shorter then him 30’s- 40’s
• Peter Lorre type. need a great character actor
• Elaine Harper Mortimers love interest Sweet Cute 20’s-30’s
• Rev. Harper Elaine’s Dad stoic well spoken gentleman 60’s +
