Check back just before the audition date of the show you are interested in to get details
about auditions for that particular show. Auditions are at 7 p.m. at the Redlands Footlighters Theatre unless otherwise noted.

- Footlighters announces auditions for the next production, "The Unexpected Guest" by Agatha Christie will be held Monday and Tuesday, March 15th and 16th at 7:00pm at the theater, 1810 Barton Road. Director Chris Diehl will be looking for nine actors – six men and three women: Laura, in her 30's, attractive and a bit mysterious; Michael, 30's to 40's, a man of action; Miss Bennett, 40's to 60's, efficient and a bit nosy; Jan; a young man but not as innocent as he seems; Mrs. Warwick, 60's and mother of the victim with a commanding personality; Henry, 40's to 50's, manservant who is a bit shifty; Julian, 30's to 40's, with some political aspirations; and two police officers. A British accent is a must for this clever, classic thriller. Performance dates are May 13th to May 30th.

Who can audition for a Footlighters play?
Anyone! All are welcome! Please ensure that you are available for the
performances dates - they are listed on the main page.
What do I need to prepare for my audition?
For comedies and dramas, you don't need to prepare anything.
For musicals, please prepare one song and bring your accompaniment on
cassette tape or CD. We will provide a CD or tape player. Each play may
have special requirements, so check below for more specific information.
What do I do at the audition?
You will fill out an audition form, so that we can contact you after the
audition. You will be asked to read scenes for the characters that are
best suited to you. If you are auditioning for a musical, you will asked
to sing the song you prepared.
What if I have a question about the play or the rehearsal schedule
or something?
We are unable to respond personally to any requests for any information
about rehearsals, etc. If you have any questions, please come to the audition
and ask the director in person.
