Please bring a resume of past experience, a headshot (if available), and a list of conflicts. Rehearsals are planned to begin October 12 and generally run Monday-Thursday evenings. About the show:
In a festive mood, the ladies of the Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen’s Guild Dramatic Society mount another assault on the classics with their stage version of A Christmas Carol. They enthusiastically portray a dizzy array of characters from the Dickensian favorite (and a few which aren’t), engineer some novel audience participation while bravely contending with an intrusive PA system and a real Farndale first rap their vocal cords and feet around two original, show stopping songs. Loosely based on Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. (Samuel French, Inc.)

How big is the male role?

  2. Vicki says:

This is an ensemble show, the man’s part is pretty large. No monologues, but some fast paced banter.

  3. Dani Hernandez says:

I can’t wait! Will there be singing for the audition? Also, what kind of British accent are you looking for? Lower, middle, or upper class?

  4. Barry says:

How old is the man’s role?

    • Tom H says:

I’d say that the role is open to any age. The one caveat is that there are some physical jokes that may be difficult for some actors (regardless of age).
